On leaving the Airport drive down the dual carriageway until you see signs for Portimao. Follow these signs until you get on the A22. Stay on the motorway for about 50kms. When you reach junction 6 on the motorway, take the turning signposted Lagoa/Silves. At the round-about go left (signs Lagoa) straight across the next roundabout, and proceed along the dual carriageway until you see signs for Lagoa Sul/Carvoeiro. Keep in the left lane and you will join the EN125. At the first round-about go straight across. After about 200m you come to a set of traffic lights where you turn right towards Carvoeiro. Next roundabout take the 2nd left (270 degrees). Follow this road until you come to the lights having just passed Intermarché (useful for groceries). Keep on this road for approximately 5km and this will bring you into the centre of Carvoeiro.
